ASUS O!Play – TV HD Media Player (Black) Review

This media player I just yesterday and I am very impressed. Video and audio quality is excellent (both HD and SD / better) than my hd4350 on my HTPC. Build quality is good. Menus and graphics are useful but not great. I have both eSATA hard drive and 2 Win7 computer network of over 100 Mbit / s connected. I updated my firmware 1.17n but yet it was not possible to access files on a PC network running win7 (for login and password required). I decided to install TVersity (free) Media Server Softwareon my pc 2 win7 to solve this problem. After you install TVersity and shared my media folder, I went back to the menu Oplay and could not find my network shares under / UPnP / (PCNAME) TVersity. Were not "network" approach, will ensure UPnP go. I do an assessment to 5 stars, because the money for this player rocks (I have a cable connection and I have no access to web content in this field). It should only improve with future firmware updates.
